Timbalaye continues its activities in support of Cuban folk culture with this special edition of the Festival Internacional de Rumba Cubana, dedicated to the proclamation of the Rumba as cultural intangible heritage of Cuba. The Festival also supports the application of the Rumba for UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
After the First Forum on Cuban Rumba, successfully held in Rome last March, we expect you to Havana to deepen with outstanding professionals, artists and intellectuals your knowledge about this genre of music and dance, the most representative of CUBA: LA RUMBA!…
And … to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the prestigious Conjunto Folklórico Nacional de Cuba!

■ Folk dances stages and percussion lessons, from eminent Cuban folk dances Masters
■ Presentation of the editorial project: Timbalaye- Cuban Rumba International Magazine N° 2
■ Homage to the 50th Anniversary of the Conjunto Foklorico Nacional de Cuba
■ Homage to the 60th Anniversary of los Muñequitos de Matanzas
■ Performances and shows by children and youth folk groups promoted by AHS
■ Performances with Cuban and foreigner guest bands
■ Presentation of Longina Seductora Project from Veracruz, Mexico
